Jan–Vos van Marken, Division Manager Division Surgical Specialism: "The healthcare market is changing drastically in the next years. This will impact us, as University Hospital as well. How big the consequences will be and what the impact will be on the financial management of our division has been a question. Pi® has given us more insight in this question.

Choices need to be made, before they will be made for us. Our division has started therefore a while ago with making a thorough strategy plan. With this plan we want to make our division ready for the future years. We use Pi® to support the strategy workshops we have done with every care unit within our division.

With Pi® our production numbers have been enriched and made useful for right interpretations. With Pi® we can make thorough choices together with our care units. We can see the real share of our focus points within the total production, how our performance is in these patientgroups and last but not least, what is the relation with the world around us. We have noticed that looking into this mirror has been a motivating process to all of us.

Our experiences with Pi® are positive so far. Pi® has made the strategy workshops interactive and provides us with tools to control our complex care processes. The flexibility and development speed Pi® continues to move along, is another positive aspect."
